You should be writing

Daily writing prompt
What do you wish you could do more every day?

It’s easy to break away from a routine and lose discipline in creative work that has no deadline and no immediate financial incentive. It’s also easy to “take a load off” or feel like you’ve done so much writing at your day job you’d rather pursue something else in your free time. And when that free time is limited, those creative endeavors can fall by the wayside. That’s why I’m grateful for these writing prompts. They help kick me into gear and get me rolling. They help me come to the page in my authentic voice and help me realize how easy it can be to just let the words flow. So, to answer the question, what I wish I could do more every day is write and – more specifically – write for myself, write from my soul. So that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to turn my phone off and set up the hourglass, disconnect to reconnect. Cheers!
